In this week, which was week 4, Mr David has elaborated to us about techniques on recording the behavior. There are four techniques that is being pointed out by Mr David which are
For duration, it is elaborated that how long the behavior lasts. Frequency is how frequently the behavior occurs, Interval which was target behaviors of each subject during set period time and Continuous is what all behaviors of the subject that.

Duration Recording
- HOW IT WORKS ; The researcher records the length of time that a behavior occurs
- EXAMPLE ; How much time is spent in verbal interaction between two children?
Frequency Recording
- HOW IT WORKS ; The researcher records the number of times a behavior occurs
- EXAMPLE ; How often are question asked?
Interval Recording
- HOW IT WORKS ; The researcher observes a subject for a fixed amount of time
- EXAMPLE ; Within a 60-second period, how many times do members of the group talk to another person?
Continuous Recording
- HOW IT WORKS ; The researcher records everything that happens
- EXAMPLE ; During a 1-hour period, all the behavior of a 6-year-old boy is recorded
More than that, we were also explained about how to develop good questionnaire. In making questionnaire, it deals with a significant topic, one the respondent will recognize as important. Next, it seeks only the information which cannot be obtained from other sources. It is also short as possible and attractive in appearance, neatly arranged, and clearly duplicated or printed.
